Every LEGO City set retiring in 2023 and beyond – January update
A whopping 45 different LEGO City sets are currently scheduled to retire in 2023, including a handful that have only just arrived on shelves.
60369 Mobile Police Dog Training and 60394 ATV and Otter Habitat are among the new-for-2023 sets that are already facing the chop, alongside a smattering of Stuntz sets that aren’t even available yet. 60357 Stunt Truck & Ring Of Fire Challenge, 60359 Dunk Stunt Ramp Challenge, 60360 Spinning Stunt Challenge and 60361 Ultimate Stunt Riders Challenge will all launch on March 1 – and retire by December 31.
That’s according to Brick Fanatics’ sources at the time of writing, and while those dates are subject to change, they’re not necessarily outside of the norm for LEGO City. Summer 2022’s 60347 Grocery Store lasted a mere five months on shelves, to highlight just one example, so there’s every chance that these sets could end up enjoying equally short shelf lives.
Also on the way out in 2023 are 60253 Ice-Cream Truck – one of the oldest LEGO City sets currently available – and one of the best Stuntz sets to date in 60333 Bathtub Stunt Bike. You’ve got until the end of 2024 to snap up one of the best new LEGO City 2023 sets, though, as 60372 Police Training Academy is scheduled to hang around for at least two years.
Dive into the full list below, and remember that these aren’t precise retirement dates: they’re simply the last point by which these sets are expected to be available. That means they could sell out in the weeks or months leading up to those dates, so best start prioritising your 2023 shopping list now.
