LEGO City Summer 2018 Mining subtheme official images

Official images of the LEGO City range for Summer 2018, based around mining, have been published online.

Following the release of images showing the LEGO City Mountain Police subtheme, now the Brothers Brick has shared images that show the Summer sets coming in 2018. The main subtheme is set to be Mining, with the majority of the set images published showcasing that range.

The set names and images follow:

• 60177 Airshow Jet
• 60178 Speed Record Car
• 60184 Mining Team
• 60186 Mining Heavy Driller
• 60188 Mining Expert Site

The new sets are based around the mining of gold, rather than minerals as has been the case in previous LEGO City iterations of mining. The subtheme ties in with the first half of the year Mountain Police sets, representing the same rural setting. More sets than those shown here are expected.
