The special series of LEGO Collectible Minifigures celebrating the minifigure’s 40th birthday is available now.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71201 Series 18 – subtitled Party – is available to order now from [geot exclude_country=”United States”]shop.LEGO.com[/geot][geot country=”United States”]shop.LEGO.com[/geot], with a limit of 20 blind bags per person. The new series is made up of 16 new minifigures plus a special one-a-box Police Officer minifigure based on the original 1978 classic.

To give a party theme to the series, the characters are in fancy dress or ready for a celebration, with a few meta references thrown in. In addition to the Police Officer, the characters to collect are Dragon Suit Guy, Firework Guy, Elephant Costume Girl, LEGO Brick Suit Guy, LEGO Brick Suit Girl, Cactus Girl, Party Clown, Cake Guy, Unicorn Guy, Flowerpot Girl, Birthday Party Girl, Birthday Party Boy, Spider Suit Boy, Cowboy Costume Guy, Race Car Guy and Cat Costume Girl.
