LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 18 Vignettes: Race Car Guy

It’s party time! The humble minifigure has been around for 40 years and Brick Fanatics is celebrating by presenting each character from Series 18 in a bespoke vignette

For 40 years, LEGO sets have been brought to life by the little characters known as minifigures. To celebrate that anniversary, the LEGO Group has released a special series of minifigures who are ready to party. [geot exclude_country=”United States”]Series 18[/geot][geot country=”United States”]Series 18[/geot] has more of the popular fancy dress characters than any wave before it, with the elusive classic Police Officer thrown in as a chase minifigure.

The latest Brick Fanatics build series presents a new vignette each day, one for each of the 17 new minifigures.

Look – it is Formula One’s biggest fan and smallest fan.

This is one of my favourite minifigures from the series. I really love the car which, as shown here, can be used as a stand alone miniature car. I really hope that this piece gets released in more colours and styles.

Hi I’m Nick also known as Minifignick I love anything and everything about Lego As I child I collected the Space theme, which at the age of 11 I stupidly sold the lot to fund “more grown up things” whatever they were I can’t remember. That then was the start of my “dark age” which lasted up until a visit to Legoland with my then 5 year old son. 9 years later I’m still loving the brick and create anything from medieval banqueting halls to 1950’s Record Stores.
