LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 21 vignettes – Ancient Warrior

An Ancient Warrior requires an ancient world to roam, and that’s exactly what we’ve constructed in our latest LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71029 Series 21 vignette.

Brick Fanatics has returned with another series of buildable displays for the latest batch of Collectible Minifigures, this time focusing on the newly-launched 71029 Series 21. There are only 12 characters in this series, down from the usual 16, but they’re all stunning – and all worthy of their very own display solution.

You can find all of our builds for this wave of blind-bagged characters at this link, but keep scrolling to see one of this series’ most impressive minifigures placed among familiar surroundings.

The detail across this character’s body, head and shield are practically unparalleled, so we had to come up with a detailed environment to match. The vine elements proved particularly handy for creating the overgrown foliage, while the base provided an opportunity to build in some carvings among the brickwork. The real hook in this vignette, though, is the forced perspective of the slightly twisted architecture that climbs away into the background, offering depth to the scene within the confines of an 8×8-stud grid.
