LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 21 vignettes – the complete collection

We’ve just wrapped up our series of exclusive builds for the latest batch of Collectible Minifigures, so here’s a look back through every one of our vignettes for 71029 Series 21.

Over the past two weeks, Brick Fanatics has published 12 brand new builds by Justin Winn – one for each character in this eclectic and enjoyable new blind-bagged range. Veteran collectors will know that represents a reduced number compared to previous series, which typically included 16 minifigures.

You can find out more about why the LEGO Group has made that change by heading here (it’s apparently got nothing to do with sales). Otherwise, click through the links below to learn more about each individual vignette, or keep scrolling to see them all in one browsable gallery.

Shipwreck Survivor
Pug Costume Guy
Ladybug Girl
Ancient Warrior
Airplane Girl
Violin Kid
Beekeeper
Paddle Surfer
Cabaret Singer
Centaur Warrior
Alien
Space Police Guy

The final two vignettes also combine for a single display, as the Space Police Guy attempts to catch the enterprising Alien thief in the act.

If this build series has inspired you to put together your own environments for these characters, you can order 71029 Series 21 from LEGO.com right now. To see more of Justin’s LEGO builds, check out his Flickr page, where his handle is justin_m_winn.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
