LEGO.com double VIP points available from today

Today marks the beginning of the LEGO Group’s latest double VIP points event, making this week the perfect opportunity to pick up any LEGO exclusives on your wish list.

Had your eye on the newly-released 10282 Adidas Originals Superstar or 21327 Typewriter? This is basically an effective early discount on those LEGO for Adults and LEGO Ideas sets, equivalent to 10% back in points to spend on future sets or exclusive rewards.

Or maybe, like us, you’ve got a wish list that’s even bigger than your already-sizeable backlog – but you’re happy to keep racking up massive sets that one day you’ll maybe, hopefully, find time to put together. 2021 has already brought us plenty of brilliant contenders, from 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens and 10295 Porsche 911 to 76178 Daily Bugle and 10292 The Friends Apartments.

Fortunately, there’s no limit on the number of sets you can earn double points on, nor on the themes and sets that qualify: the promo is available across the entire portfolio. You’ll also still earn a free 40486 Adidas Originals Superstar with all purchases above £95 / $85 / €95 (at least while stocks last), sweetening the deal even further.

Head over to LEGO.com to treat yourself, because – let’s be honest – there’s no better cure for the Monday blues. (We apologise in advance to your bank account.) Double VIP points will run until July 18.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
