LEGO CON Minecraft minifigure’s 2022 set officially revealed

One of the new LEGO Minecraft 2022 sets features a minifigure chosen by fans at LEGO CON, revealing that no changes were made to the design.

The first LEGO Minecraft 2022 models have been revealed on the official online store with another array of new minifigures, mobs and locations to collect and explore. However, you might remember that one of these was chosen by the fans.

As part of LEGO CON 2021, it was announced that a public vote for a future LEGO Minecraft minifigure was to be hosted. By the end of the poll, it had been decided that the Ninja was to be featured in a future LEGO Minecraft set. The other options included a Warrior and Ranger, leaving us to wonder what the build could have been.

With the LEGO Minecraft 2022 additions to the official online store, 21183 The Training Grounds was detailed with a full gallery of images showcasing the hilltop house above a blacksmith’s cave.

This is the set that the Ninja appears in alongside a Rogue, bat and skeleton. Other elements of the model suggest that the other two possible minifigures could have fit into this design too, with the blacksmith’s area for the Warrior and natural plants for the Ranger.

21183 The Training Grounds launches on January 1, 2022, for £54.99 / $69.99 / €59.99 with 534 bricks. You can take a look at the rest of the LEGO Minecraft 2022 creations here.
