LEGO confirms Black Friday deals are coming in 2021

The LEGO Group has confirmed that its annual Black Friday shopping event will return next month with an entire weekend of deals.

November’s LEGO Store calendar looks pretty bare compared to the past few months, with only 40488 Coffee Cart hoping to entice early adopters of the likes of 10294 Titanic, 76240 Batmobile Tumbler and 21330 Home Alone from November 8 to 14. But there’s a very good reason for that: Black Friday is back.

Falling on November 26 in 2021, the day after Thanksgiving in the US is now a global shopping event, which means we’ve got plenty of offers, deals and gifts-with-purchase to look forward to later next month. The LEGO Group’s Black Friday deals will be available from November 26 to 29 inclusive, running the entire weekend through Cyber Monday.

That’s in step with last year’s event, and also follows the already-confirmed LEGO VIP Weekend, which is similarly set to return a week ahead of Black Friday on November 20-21. While VIP Weekend doesn’t include all of the same offers as Black Friday, it does typically grant members of the LEGO Group’s loyalty program early access to at least the Black Friday gift-with-purchase, alongside double VIP points and exclusive gifts and bonuses.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
