LEGO Creator Expert 10271 Fiat 500 designer introduces the set

A new video sees the LEGO Model Designer present the new LEGO Creator Expert 10271 Fiat 500.

With LEGO Creator Expert 10271 Fiat 500 released yesterday, the LEGO Group has released a video introducing the model with the designer who came up with the new set.

”We decided to do the Fiat 500F, which is the version from 1965,” explains LEGO Model Designer Pierre Normandin. The set is the latest detailed model car in the series, using 960 elements to recreate the iconic Italian car.

“On the car there are many functions, we have foldable roof, we have an opening trunk in the front to show off the extra wheel and then we have the motor hatch, or the engine hatch, in the back,” he explains. “We have the doors, we have the seats reclining, the accessory we chose to go with it is a painting with a colour palette and little suitcase, so imagining it is an artist that owns the Fiat and went to paint the Colosseum in Rome.”

A limited time deal at LEGO.com offers 40370 Train (review) for free with orders totalling £99 or more.
