LEGO Creator Expert make-and-take Newsstand instructions
Fans can build their own copy of the LEGO Store make-and-take Newsstand that complements 10270 Bookshop.
Yesterday, select LEGO Stores held a make-and-take event for adult fans, in which attendees could build a newsstand to complement the recently released 10270 Bookshop. The little build uses a couple of parts that are rare or exclusive, but even at the event some stores did not receive all of the parts in the correct colours.
The Brick Fan has helpfully shared the instructions to build the model, so those who did not make it to the event can source the parts and construct their own newsstand to make sure nothing is missing from their modular street.
LEGO Creator Expert 10270 Bookshop is available exclusively at LEGO.com and LEGO Stores, priced at £149.99 in the UK and $179.99 in the USA. The 2,504-piece set builds a three-storey bookshop and townhouse inspired by European architecture.
Features included in the set include a reading book, a toy plane stuck in a tree, a chameleon in the bedroom and plenty more that will be revealed as the model is constructed. Design Master Wes Talbott was inspired by houses found in Amsterdam and his mother’s doll houses.
