LEGO Dimensions – The Countdown Continues

The countdown to LEGO Dimensions continues, with the latest video from The Totally Top Secret Dylan & Augie Project, news of a three year plan for the franchise and the most excitingly – a brand new Portal song from Jonathan Coulton. Yes it’s almost time to finally jump into the LEGO multiverse and experience a LEGO Videogame unlike any other. In fact, with its impressive line-up of talent and franchises, it’s already a contender for game of the year. With the release date rapidly approaching, Warner Bros. in association with Nintendo Wii U, have released the second of their new weekly YouTube series hosted by Dylan and Augie. In this episode they take a look at some of the upcoming additional expansions packs which will bring new characters and content to LEGO Dimensions.

Next up, over on Eurogamer during an interview with the game’s Associate Producer, Mark Warburton at EGX, it’s been revealed TT Games have three years worth of content planned for LEGO Dimensions. So, for those questioning the cost of the Starter Pack (which is currently just £79.99 on Amazon) your investment will allow you to enjoy content for many months to come without having to keep upgrading your ToyPads, unlike other toys-to-life products. You can check out the full interview over on Eurogamer.

Finally, Portal music man Jonathan Coulton, has revealed he’s written and produced another GLaDOS song for LEGO Dimensions. Still Alive and Want You Gone are much loved tunes from the Portal franchise and this new song continues in the same style. You can have a cheeky listen and even purchase the new song You Wouldn’t Know on Jonathan’s website.

LEGO Dimensions launches in the UK on Tuesday.
