The latest big, impressive LEGO Disney set, 43179 Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Buildable Characters launches today at LEGO.com.

LEGO Disney 43179 Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Buildable Characters is available now at LEGO.com. The appealing, 1,739 piece set offers a sculptural representation of Disney’s most famous duo, Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Wearing their classic outfits, Mickey and Minnie also come with buildable accessories including a retro camera, a guitar and a photo album with references to classic animation. The bases the figures stand on is inspired by a vintage film reel.

The detailed set is part of the LEGO Group’s new marketing strategy to appeal to develop products specifically for adults.

“We always look to design things that people would like to put on their shelf, including my own, which is why we went for the ‘classic’ Mickey Mouse design with the iconic silhouette and colour palette – as a surprise for builders, the characters insides are built from colourful elements inspired by classic outfits worn by the pair in the past,” said LEGO Model Designer Ollie Gregory when the model was officially announced.
