This latest series of vignettes from Brick Fanatics presents LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures in bespoke, brick built environments – today it is time for Elsa to let it go…

Disney is back in the Collectible Minifigures theme – 18 new minifigure make up LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71024 Disney Series 2. Featuring characters classic films and beloved television series, there are some delightful designs for fans to choose from. Taking each minifigure as inspiration, Brick Fanatics is presenting a series of vignettes, each one built especially for the character in question.

Elsa

Elsa is such an iconic recent Disney character that I wanted to build a vignette to do her justice.

I went through several iterations and ideas and  I really struggled with a design I was happy with, until I decided to build a scaled down recreation of Elsa’s frozen castle. The trans-blue parts look really effective and the mix of slopes and curves helps to give great shaping to the design.
