LEGO DOTS building activities in LEGO Stores throughout March

To launch the new LEGO DOTS theme, LEGO Stores will host a series of promotional build activities.

Children will have many opportunities to gets hands-on with LEGO DOTS throughout the month of March. To celebrate the new theme, LEGO Stores will offer multiple opportunities to try it out. The Brick Fan has highlighted the activities, that has been revealed on the new store calendar.

LEGO DOTS is a new arts and craft theme that encourages designing with 1×1 tiles on either something that has been built, an 8×8 plate or a wristband.

For the entirety of March, anyone aged six or over can ‘dot’ a 6×6 plate that will then be used to decorate the store.

On March 19, a ‘How do you DOT?’ event is running for those aged 6 to 18 years old. There will be instructions to build a watch face that can be added to one of the bracelets.

The theme is a new entry by the LEGO Group into the arts and craft market, with a mix of brick-built home décor items and wearable bracelets that can be covered with 1×1 LEGO tiles – also known as DOTS. The products were first revealed at a launch event that also saw the opening of the HOUSE OF DOTS, a collaboration between the LEGO Group and artist Camille Walala.
