LEGO DUPLO style products at B&M Bargains

B&M Bargains is selling a pre-school construction toy that contains pieces looking very much like LEGO DUPLO elements.

After a Brick by Brick Dinosaur Base toy, that looks suspiciously similar to the LEGO Group’s Jurassic World sets, appeared on shelves at B&M Bargains, two pre-school DUPLO style products have been spotted.

The discount store B&M Bargains started selling LEGO sets for the first time this year, as the LEGO Group sought to recoup sales that were lost when Toys R Us collapsed in the UK. Despite selling the real thing, it seems that the chain is still selling products that look to contain very similar pieces to those manufactured by the LEGO Group.

Some of the elements in the Brick by Brick sets that look particularly like LEGO DUPLO bricks include the door, the figures and the helicopter mould.

A look on the B&M Bargains website uncovers more surprising products, namely the XBlocks Racing range, which is a selection of construction products using elements that look to be very similar to those found in LEGO Technic sets.
