LEGO Education launches new resource to inspire STEAM careers

A new, free, classroom resource has been launched by LEGO Education to help educators inspire students to aspire for a STEAM career.

In partnership with Danni Washington, Rie McClenny, and more STEAM professionals, LEGO Education hopes that a new campaign will assist students in finding a path towards a career in Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The campaign, named Hannah’s STEAM Heroes: A Career Toolkit, is available now on the LEGO Education website.

“Students today are our future STEAM leaders,” said science communicator and ocean advocate Danni Washington “I am thrilled to inspire students to build the skills and confidence they need to create the world we all deserve.”

Educators can even sign up to receive Hannah’s STEAM Supplies, a collection of physical items to help teach that may include a poster, pencil, tote bag and sticker sheet. Note that this is only available while supplies last and is limited to one per person in the US.

The online tools include a series of videos and other documents all based on STEAM subjects.

“It’s important to ensure students are equipped with the tools needed to navigate their future career paths,” comments Angela Gier, LEGO Education ambassador and teacher at Maple Lawn Elementary School in Dallas, Texas.

“I’ve seen first-hand how STEAM learning can build confidence in students and am excited to use this toolkit to show my students how the STEAM skills they’re learning in the classroom applies to all kinds of careers.”

Hannah’s STEAM Heroes: A Career Toolkit is available to download starting today, March 6, 2023, and Can be adapted for all grade levels or subjects.
