LEGO models aren’t just about the bricks as minifigures have become a huge part of sets in recent years, even encouraging creativity.
LEGO Ideas 21337 Table Football has a wide selection of minifigure elements that greatly outnumber the number of minifigures you can make and use in the set. However, it’s not the first time that such a design decision was made to encourage personalisation and customisation through a model’s minifigures.
While we wait for the sporty set to launch, here is a look at LEGO sets with great personalisation for minifigures:
4 – LEGO Minifigure Factory
Trialled earlier this year, the LEGO Minifigure Factory is now closed online, but you can still access this experience in stores. Whether or not you classify it as a set is up to you, but it undoubtedly has the most options of everything on this list.
When it was live online, the LEGO Minifigure Factory allowed you to choose an accessory, head, hair and legs and, most excitingly, customise the design of the torso. In select LEGO stores, this experience is still available.
3 – 76399 Hogwarts Magical Trunk
Coming from LEGO Harry Potter, 76399 Hogwarts Magical Trunk is one of the few sets to not include the titular character. Instead, it opts for an entirely personalised experience with options to create a room within the trunk as part of the familiar locale of Hogwarts.
However, 76399 Hogwarts Magical Trunk also includes several options for making your own Hogwarts Students with a variety of skins tones, hair colours and house uniforms
2 – LEGO CITY people packs
60134 Fun in the park – City People Pack, 60153 People Pack – Fun at the Beach, 60202 People Pack – Outdoor Adventures all display the feature of minifigure customisation on the back of the box but otherwise include a more generic selection of parts for the classic yellow minifigures.
1 – 21337 Table Football
Featuring 109 minifigure pieces, 21337 Table Football has one of the most customisable minifigure selections to date and will be available from November 1, 2022.
