LEGO fan creates Spider-Man Sinister Six diorama

With theories abounding that the Sinister Six will feature in Spider-Man: No Way Home, a LEGO fan has made a brick-built scene featuring them all.

Warning: spoilers ahead if you haven’t already seen the recently released trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man movie. It seems that a spell gone wrong by Doctor Strange will unleash Spider-Man villains from other movies. So far, we’ve got a good look at Doc Ock, heard the evil cackle of the Green Goblin, and eagle-eyed fans think they saw glimpses of Electro, Sandman, and Lizard.

The original Sinister Six from the Marvel comics featured Doc Ock, Electro, the Vulture, Mysterio, Kraven the Hunter, and Sandman, but there’s no reason the MCU couldn’t rejig this line-up for the movies. So far, details about Spider-Man: No Way Home have been kept fiercely under wraps, so we’ll have to wait and see if any more big-name villains are confirmed.

In the meantime, LEGO YouTuber hachiroku24 has created a brick-built diorama featuring Spider-Man and six of his biggest, baddest villains. They selected Mysterio, Sandman, Doc Ock, Scorpion, Hobgoblin, and Rhino, a Sinister Six that has not officially been seen before in the comics.

The YouTuber used the taxi from 76178 Daily Bugle and the train from 4855 Spider-Man’s Train Rescue to lay the groundwork for his build, but there’s a lot of creativity at play too. In particular, the beige elements used to show Sandman’s powers are especially effective.

There are already rumours circulating about two more Spider-Man sets linked to Tom Holland’s third movie, but we’re still waiting for confirmation from the LEGO Group as to what the exact details will be. For now, this MOC is certainly impressive enough to keep us going until the movie’s release on 17 December, 2021.
