LEGO fans can now register for tickets for Skaerbaek Fan Weekend 2021

You can now book your tickets for this year’s LEGO Skaerbaek Fan Weekend, which will return in September after a brief pandemic-prompted hiatus in 2020.

The Danish LEGO event will welcome more than 1,000 adult LEGO fans from over 35 countries to display their own creations on September 25 and 26. There will also be activities for children, a free build area, sales stands offering rare products, and prize draws for anyone with a ticket.

Registration opened on April 1 and will stay open until June 30. You’ll need to create a profile in the member’s centre in order to secure a ticket. From there, you can sign up to events and activities, as well as access the member’s forum, where attendees discuss plans leading up to the event itself. Tickets cost 50 DKK (roughly £5) for adults, and 25 DKK (around £2.50) for children.

This year’s theme is ‘Classic Space’ and attendees are encouraged to bring their own creations in line with this theme. The only rules are that it should fit within the maximum dimensions of 32x32x32 studs.

Skaerbaek Fan Weekend was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, but is back with a bang this year. The event first started in 2005 after the LEGO Group decided not to continue LEGO Fan Weekend, with three Danish fans instead establishing their own event just 50 miles away from Billund. Each year since (with the exception of 2020), the village of Skaerbaek has played host to thousands of LEGO fans from all over the world.

You can find out more about what to expect from Skaerbaek Fan Weekend 2021 on the event’s website, and secure yourself a ticket any time before June 30.
