LEGO Harry Potter 40289 Diagon Alley may arrive in November

A rumour has emerged claiming that LEGO Harry Potter 40289 Diagon Alley will arrive in LEGO Stores on November 9.

According to the Brick Fan, LEGO Harry Potter 40289 Diagon Alley will launch on November 9, and be free with purchases over $99. Fans do not yet know whether that will be exclusively on LEGO Wizarding World products, or cover all LEGO products. The deal is expected to be available in physical LEGO Stores and online at shop.LEGO.com.

The revived LEGO Harry Potter theme continues to grow with this set, which is expected to the last new release for 2018.

In the set, five memorable buildings from the street are represented – Gringotts Bank, Ollivander’s, Flourish and Blotts, Quality Quiddich Supplies and Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes – and an Ollivander minifigure is included too.

With the recent release of 71043 Hogwarts Castle, it seems that the Harry Potter theme will continue to go beyond minifigure scale releases. How this set will be more broadly available has yet to be revealed, but as it has turned up in a LEGO Certified Store, it could be a LEGO Store exclusive launching on September 1.

71043 Hogwarts Castle is available now at shop.LEGO.com.

The rest of the LEGO Harry Potter sets are available now from shop.LEGO.com. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be released in cinemas on November 16.
