New LEGO Harry Potter Visual Dictionary minifigure has a unique face print

The new LEGO Harry Potter Visual Dictionary for 2024 includes an exclusive Cedric Diggory minifigure and it’s more exclusive than we expected.

Days ago on July 4, the latest LEGO Harry Potter visual dictionary was released with an exclusive minifigure of Cedric Diggory, just in time for 76440 Triwizard Tournament: The Arrival earlier this summer.

Instagram user lego_potter_collector has got their hands on the new book now that it’s available and discovered that the minifigure has another face that may be tempting for Wizarding World enthusiasts.

Cedric Diggory’s new minifigure may have a familiar primary face print but his secondary print is equipped with the Bubble-Head Charm from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

To our knowledge, it’s the first time that the charm has been depicted in LEGO and it’s an effective, but simple method to represent it instead of making an entirely new piece.

Those who were not already planning on picking up the new book may be more tempted thanks to this reveal and it’s available now online and in stores for £19.99 / $24.99. Otherwise, Cedric Diggory is only currently available in 76416 Quidditch Trunk for £62.99 / $67.99 / €69.99. That set’s Cedric Diggory minifigure has a different face print with a more pronounced smile.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.

That’s the Bubble-Head Charm from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire – an air bubble for use underwater that allows for breathing when diving.
