LEGO Ideas 21317 Steamboat Willie fan designer signing events

Two events have been announced that will allow collectors to get LEGO Ideas 21317 Steamboat Willie signed by the set’s fan designer.

With the release of the new Disney Mickey Mouse set, LEGO Ideas 21317 Steamboat Willie (review), fans in France and the USA will have the opportunity to meet the set’s fan designer. The Disney Springs LEGO Store at Disney World and LEGO Store at Disneyland Paris will play host to Máté “szabomate90” Szabó, who will greet fans buying the set and sign their boxes. The set launches on April 1 at LEGO Stores arouns the world.

Máté will be at the LEGO Store Disney Springs on April 3, from 5.00pm until 8.00pm. He will be at the LEGO Store Disneyland Paris on April 6, from 10am until 1.00pm.

Using 751 pieces, including special printed elements, the set that is inspired by the black and white Steamboat Willie short will be released on April 1. It includes two specially decorated minifigures – Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse – who were introduced in the short for the very first time. The set will be available exclusively at shop.LEGO.com.
