LEGO Ideas 21318 Tree House retirement rumours continue

LEGO Ideas 21318 Tree House increasingly looks to be on its way out at the end of 2020, with a potential clue in LEGO stores too.

Earlier this year, the 3,036-piece creation appeared on a list of sets expected to retire in 2020. Now, Brick Fanatics has received word from a separate source that the set is indeed going to retire before the end of the year.

There’s a potential clue to 21318 Tree House’s fate too, in that the leaf elements from the set are starting to appear in LEGO Store Pick & Build walls, perhaps suggestive of stock being diverted away from production of the set.

Fans who haven’t picked up the set yet but want it as part of their collection may be wise to act sooner rather than later to be on the safe side.

The information should be treated with caution, as it is only rumour. It’s also worth considering that with 92176 NASA Apollo Saturn V and 92177 Ship in a Bottle returning, retirement for an Ideas set may never truly be definitive.

Recently, The Globe was the only product idea from the first 2020 review to be approved for official set release.
