A new LEGO Ideas model is now available on the official online store, offering a build based on the classic SEGA title – Sonic the Hedgehog.

LEGO Ideas 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone is now available on LEGO.com as the first set for the theme in 2022. As one of the least expensive LEGO Ideas models recently released, the build revisits the pixelated era of Sonic the Hedgehog by recreating one of the most famous levels in the franchise – Green Hill Zone.

The course itself is filled with everything you can expect from a normal Sonic zone, such as spring pads, checkpoints and even a loop to pose the updated Sonic minifigure in. The hedgehog has undergone a makeover since his brick-built debut in LEGO Dimensions with the newer iteration being based on his older, classic design.

The new minifigure sports additional details such as a smirk on one side of the mouth, matching his appearance in-game, black eyes with no hint of green and detailed printing on the sides of his legs for the buckle and strap on his red shoes.
