LEGO Ideas 90th anniversary contest moves on to expert review

Only one LEGO Ideas contest is now accepting entries as the 90th-anniversary competition moves to the expert review stage with over 400 models.

The LEGO Ideas team now have the task of sorting through 427 submissions in one of the most recent contests on the platform that will see the winners displayed in the LEGO House in Billund.

Those interested in taking part submitted builds based on one of three categories – Musical, Futuristic and Celebrate – with digital and physical models both allowed.

The grand prize package includes 21037 LEGO House, 40502 The Brick Moulding Machine, 40503 Dagny Holm – Master Builder, the unrevealed 90th-anniversary set and the chance to have your creation displayed in the LEGO House.

Only one winner will be walking away with that, two runner-ups will get 21037 LEGO House, 40502 The Brick Moulding Machine and 40503 Dagny Holm – Master Builder. Last but not least, anyone who makes it into the fan vote, a minimum of 25 entries for each of the three categories, will receive 21037 LEGO House.

Now that the expert review has begun, the next stage is a fan vote that starts on April 21 before the winner is announced at the start of May. This is just one part of the LEGO Group’s celebrations for the 90th anniversary, which also includes the launch of 11021 90 Years of Play in May.
