LEGO Ideas announce 9 projects qualify for the review stage

The First 2016 LEGO Ideas Review qualifying period ended yesterday morning and an impressive 9 projects achieved 10,000 supporters between the months of January and May 2016. The Ideas team post the announcement post on their blog, saying;“We wish to extend our congratulations to all those members who have worked very hard to not only build, but also promote, creative LEGO models that the community has shown a strong passion for.

We cannot wait to see what the LEGO Review Board says now that these projects have qualified for the First 2016 LEGO Ideas Review.”

Here are the projects that qualified

    Fossil museum all the way although if the jonny five gets passed will be only the 3rd LEGO site my mrs will own as she loves it and trust me that’s saying something as she sees far too much LEGO 🙂 😉

    A lot of the sets are too big (so probably won’t get passed). The licensing always makes it difficult (and it’s disappointing that they’re always the sets that get the vote). That said I think it will be between the Fossil Museum and Johnny 5.

    I’d be happy to get the Fishing Store, Fossils or Train Station. The rest don’t greatly interest me. I would like to see a non-licensed set make the cut.

    Hoping the Train Station will make it, BUT due to the marketing frenzy that will occur, Jonny 5 will be the winner
