LEGO Ideas art contest winners announced
The winners of the LEGO Ideas artwork contest, who will have their pieces displayed at Billund’s LEGO Campus, have been announced.
A recent LEGO Ideas contest asked fans to create a piece of LEGO art, with the winning entries set to be displayed in the heart of the company’s headquarters, located in Billund, Denmark.
Here are the winning entries – there is no ranking, they all share the kudos equally:
Koi-No-Bori – Japanese Carp Windsock by LEGOkSEA_68
“A very accomplished and original build here. Love the impressive details and meaning behind this piece,” the Ideas team said.
Reflection by _Regn
“Elegant, and nicely executed piece of optical art. Modern, fresh and fun.”
Africa Adorned I by Mind the Brick
“This perspective of traditional African art is elegantly executed.”
The Art of Arts by citizen7994
“Very well considered piece with some accomplished building details in there too.”
Flowers by InnaAleshina
“Absolutely brilliant how the flowers spring out of the frame! A lovely build.”
The winners will also each take home a complete set of any one series of LEGO Art sets. That could be four copies of 31197 Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe or it could be three copies of 31200 Star Wars The Sith (review).
