LEGO’s Ideas BTS set teaser is now their most-liked tweet

It’s safe to say that people are ecstatic about the LEGO Ideas BTS set with community reactions revealing the company’s most-liked tweet of all time.

The LEGO Ideas BTS set was teased on social media earlier today with a page going lie with a countdown on the official online store too. Ahead of the reveal at 5am UK time on Thursday, February 16, we decided to take a look at how both the LEGO and BTS communities have reacted to the teaser online.

In the replies to the original teaser post on Twitter, there’s a clear demand for seeing the boy band in LEGO form.

While the BTS LEGO Ideas set is the result of a project reaching 10,000 votes, the speculation that it could be connected to a member of the band recently building 40462 Valentine’s Brown Bear on Weverse live is interesting.

Looking at the bangtan subreddit, amala83 notes, “I already told my husband (who is massively into Legos) that I want this.”

With such a crossover in interests between them, a purchase of the LEGO Ideas BTS set seems likely. Looking to the LEGO community on Reddit, m_busuttil claims that the teaser is the third most-liked tweet from the LEGO Group so far.

“The tweet’s been up less than an hour and it has 34,000 retweets and 75,000 likes; the tweet revealing Rivendell has been up for five days and it has 3,000 retweets and 10,000 likes. It’s already the LEGO Group’s third-most-liked tweet of all time.”

Taking a look through their official tweets and responses, this claim is no longer accurate at the time of writing, as the BTS teaser is now the most-liked tweet from the LEGO Group.
