LEGO Ideas Playable Piano may yet be released

While the LEGO Ideas team has not confirmed that Playable LEGO Piano will be released as a set, it has not been ruled out either.

The LEGO Ideas team has announced that of the product ideas that reached 10,000 votes in the third 2018 review, Dinosaurs Fossils Skeletons – Natural History Collection is confirmed as coming up for release as an official set.

While three other product ideas were rejected, Donny Chen’s Playable LEGO Piano is still under consideration – according to the announcement: “it’s caught the attention of the review board and due to its complexity requires further review”. That suggests that LEGO designers are currently hard at work figuring out how to make this complicated and intricate set happen, with an announcement due later in 2019.

In other LEGO Ideas news, voting is currently open in a special poll that will allow fans to select one of four previously rejected product ideas for release as an official LEGO set. Whichever of the projects gets the most votes will be launched next year to celebrate a decade of the LEGO Ideas theme.
