LEGO LIVE NYC starts today

LEGO LIVE NYC is a new event from the LEGO Group, that begins today in New York City.

Today is the first day of LEGO LIVE NYC, in New York, USA. It is a new official event with themed zones based on different LEGO themes. The event is running all weekend, until Sunday. Here is the official show description:

Experience hours of creating, and learning with over 4.66 MILLION bricks at the all-new LEGO® LIVE NYC!

Featuring build zones with all your LEGO® favorites like Architecture, City, Friends, NINJAGO, Star Wars™, and many more! Learn from LEGO® Mindstorms®, LEGO® BOOST, and LEGO® Minecraft™ experts. Visit Minecraft™ worlds in fully—immersive Virtual Reality.

Plus, live stage demonstrations, build contests, racetracks, and tons of tips & tricks from LEGO® Master Builder® Chris Steininger.

For the first time at a LEGO event, LEGO LIVE NYC will feature YouTube stars live on stage all weekend long. YouTubers scheduled to appear: Rebrickulous; BOOST Team from The TTV Channel; Ali-A; Clare Siobhan; and Vikkstar.
