LEGO Marvel Black Panther sets teased for later in 2022

The german LEGO catalogue has teased that more Marvel models for Black Panther are coming later this year as the MCU sequel nears.

On November 11, 2022, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will release as the sequel to the original film. Rumours for multiple LEGO Marvel sets based on the film surfaced earlier this year and a new teaser in the german LEGO 2HY catalogue suggests that the LEGO Group will be depicting the MCU superhero again in time for the movie.

It should be noted that this teaser pictured just below the Eternals selection on page 106 of the catalogue does not name the sequel specifically, instead only using the Black Panther branding. However, given the release of the sequel and the trend of releasing new LEGO Marvel models in time for their respective films, it seems possible that an upcoming range could be at least inspired by the film.

The translated text reads ‘The wait is almost over!’, supporting the idea that these could be for the sequel, which has been delayed along with the rest of the upcoming MCU slate. However, that’s only speculation since the movie itself is not specifically named in the teaser. From it, we can likely assume that more LEGO Black Panther sets based on the character from the MCU are on the way.

A similar teaser appeared for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder, both of which were named specifically in the catalogue. The first film is available to watch now on Disney+ and the latter is launching soon from July 7 in the UK.

Current rumours state that four sets for the film could be coming – 76211 at $49.99, 76212 for $9.99, 76213 at $29.99 and 76214 for €79.99, though these have not been officially confirmed and should be taken with caution.
