LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2019 images revealed
We may be heading into the dour winter months here in the UK, but there is one upside to this otherwise miserable time of year: images of new LEGO sets are about to start rolling in.
We’ve already seen 76115 Spider-Mech vs. Venom (seemingly renamed from Spider-Man Mech vs. Venom Mech), revealed at SDCC in the summer. But now, as discovered by The Brick Fan, Brickshop.nl has listed images of four other brand new Spider-Man sets, all due for release on December 1.
Among the line-up are three standard sets and two Juniors sets, now rebranded 4+. And while the litany of random Spider-vehicles continues, it’s the minifigures that will no doubt interest collectors the most. As well as the regular Peter Parker Spidey, we’re also getting Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen (or Ghost Spider, if you prefer) and Spider-Man 2099.
The villain contingent, meanwhile, consists of new versions of Carnage, Sandman, Vulture, Doc Ock and Green Goblin. Basically, it’s a great time to be a Spidey fan. You can check out the box images for these sets in the gallery below.
Presumably, they’re intended to tie in loosely with the upcoming animated movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. That would explain the December release date, as new sets would usually arrive in January.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
