LEGO Marvel Super Heroes – Black Panther: Trouble in Wakanda announced

The LEGO Group has announced a new animated special episode, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes – Black Panther: Trouble in Wakanda.

Coming to Disney XD, Black Panther: Trouble in Wakanda will be the latest team up between the LEGO Group and Disney to bring the Marvel Super Heroes theme to life. Marvel reports that five shorts will be released from May 11, that will later make up the TV special that will air on Disney XD.

In this original adventure directed by Michael Black, the Avengers defeat Thanos with the help of Black Panther, but Killmonger and Klaue then bring the threat to Wakanda. It will be up to the King, Black Panther, and Shuri, to put a stop to their scheme and disassemble the danger.

The voice cast includes James Mathis III as T’Challa/Black Panther, Keston John as Killmonger and Daisy Lightfoot as Shuri.

Two LEGO sets based on the incredibly successful Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Black Panther were released earlier this year – 76099 Rhino Face-Off by the Mine and 76100 Royal Talon Fighter Attack. The range based on the mammoth team up, Avengers: Infinity War, has just launched.
