LEGO Movie World opens today at LEGOLAND California

Emmet, Wyldstyle, Unikitty, and Spaceman Benny are welcoming visitors to LEGO Movie World from today.

The new expansion at LEGOLAND California opens its gates today, showcasing the three new attractions, three restaurants, two play areas and a meet-and-greet location. The whole area is themed to the LEGO movies and is a paradise for any fans of the films.

Now that people have seen inside the park, we know that it’s broken up into three areas: Bricksburg, Apocalypseburg, and Cloud Cuckoo Land. Actors and animatronics bring a range of movie characters to life, from Emmet himself to oversized Duplo Invaders. Visitors can also take socially-distanced pictures with their favourite figures in between trying out the new rides.

Access to LEGO Movie World is included within the price of any standard ticket or annual passes. Advance tickets or reservations are required due to social distancing and safety regulations from the pandemic.

Be sure to plan your visit ahead of time so you’re not disappointed on the day. LEGOLAND California is also operating with new safety guidelines to protect guests and staff in light of the pandemic.
