Starting this coming Friday, augmented reality (AR) will be in full swing across LEGOLAND California to help visitors celebrate 10 years of LEGO NINJAGO in style. Guests are tasked with finding six fragments of the Golden Amulet for Master Wu.
To help them do so, NINJAGO characters Kai, Cole, Zane, Jay, Lloyd and Nya are there to digitally teach participants how to use their ninja skills to locate the AR-based pieces all over the park.
On top of gold-hunting virtual activities, there will so be NINJAGO-inspired activities, rides, food and more. Access to the LEGO NINJAGO celebrations is included with the price of a standard LEGOLAND California ticket, although guests are advised to buy their tickets online in accordance with Covid-19 precautions.
The LEGO Group has put on a variety of events and promotions as part of its celebrations for the 10-year anniversary of the NINJAGO theme, including the launch of the biggest set in the theme yet and a recent Seabound update to the crossover event in LEGO Brawls. It’s certainly a good year to be a LEGO NINJAGO fan!
