71770 Zane’s Golden Dragon Jet

Following that is said to be 71770 Zane’s Gold Dragon Jet with Cole in Dragon Form, Zane and a Vengestone Skull Sorcerer with 258 pieces for $29.99.

As the only build in the range said to be using tensegrity, 71771 The Temple of the Crystal King is rumoured to be the main base of the villains with four buildings including altars, temples and spiral staircases.

The largest structure is reported to include space for all four golden weapons and a floating prison that uses tensegrity. 71771 The Temple of the Crystal King is rumoured to come with Jay, Kai, Cole, Zane, a Vengestone Warrior and the Crystal King for $79.99 with 703 pieces.

71772 The Crystal King

The overlord is rumoured to be back again for the next wave of LEGO NINJAGO in 71772 The Crystal King as a mech with four legs, two wings and two arms. Said to be equipped with a crystal lance, using a new brick, the set is rumoured to include 723 pieces for $69.99.

Minifigures for Lloyd, Harumi, the Crystal King and two Vengestone Warriors are reported as included.

71773 Kai’s Golden Dragon Raider

Also reported to return in 2022 is Skylor as a physical minifigure in a new suit. She is rumoured to be featured in 71773 Kai’s Golden Dragon Raider alongside the fire ninja and Zane in dragon form, facing off against Vengestone Mr. E and three Vengestone Warriors.

71774 Lloyd’s Ultra Gold Dragon

Cole, Kai, Zane and Jay are said to be able to combine their forms into a brand new dragon in the summer 2022 range with a model rumoured to be made up of 989 bricks for $139.99. Lloyd is reported as included in a new golden form as well as Kai, Zane, Jay, Cole, the Crystal King and 3 Vengestone Warriors.

The model sounds similar to the Ultra Dragon, but with the head of each dragon instead having features of the four ninjas, including Jay’s freckles and Kai’s scar.

71775 Nya’s Samurai X Mech

Nya is said to be back as well in summer after losing much of her personality and original form in Seabound. She is rumoured to once again take on the role of Samurai X in the largest mech ever with knees.

Minifigures in the reported 1,003-piece model for $119.99 include Nya as Samurai X, Vengestone Pythor, Vengestone General, Wu, Lord Garmadon, Nelson, Jay and one Vengestone Warrior.

Rumoured story details

Reading through that list, you may have noticed that even more characters are reported to return in the summer. While these rumours are currently unconfirmed, the source believes that Nelson, Skylor and Lord Garmadon are joining the team in a battle against many Vengestone foes that is said to lead to a soft reboot of the theme.
