LEGO NINJAGO 5004938 Bricktober minifigure pack review

While the year may have been dominated by The LEGO NINJAGO Movie, this Bricktober minifigure pack focuses on the regular LEGO NINJAGO theme with fan pleasing characters

Price: £14.99 Pieces: 29 Available: Now

Toys R Us has four exclusive LEGO minifigure packs available as part of the Bricktober promotion, with methods of delivery varying around the world. In the UK, the packs are priced at £14.99 each. There is a choice of different themed sets available, catering to different brick fanatics.

The long running and much loved NINJAGO theme gets a pack in this year’s Bricktober range, with a mix of heroes and villains included in the box. The minifigures included in this set are Nindroid, Neuro, Krux and Golden Techno Kai.

The white Nindroid uses the same specialised elements as the General Kyryptor minifigure from 2014, but in white instead of black – removable gear allows his swords to be harnessed on the character’s back. Neuro is the next elemental master to be released physically, and although the hairpiece used looks a little off, is a genuinely unique minifigure. This version of Krux uses existing parts from LEGO NINJAGO minifigures released in this past year’s sets. Golden Techno Kai is the most original minifigure in the set, with a nice body print running from the torso down the legs.

For fans of the theme, the NINJAGO pack will not disappoint. With a mix of minifigures that would be unlikely to be included in regular LEGO sets, all of which are well executed and including two that really are unique, this is worth adding to the collection.
