LEGO Overwatch reveal may be imminent

The first LEGO Overwatch sets may be revealed this week at a fan event for the video game behemoth.

A new licensed LEGO theme, to tie into Overwatch, has been announced for 2019. With the LEGO Group attending the Overwatch Fan Festival in South Korea this week, as reported by the Brick Fan, it may be the first time that gamers and builders get to see how these two companies are linking up. The event is running on Wednesday, August 22 and Thursday, August 23, in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.

The event is a big deal for fans of the game, as it provides the opportunity to hear from the people who bring the game to life, including Jeff Kaplan, Overwatch Game Director and Vice President, Blizzard Entertainment.

Brick Fanatics understands that the theme will launch with six traditional minifigure sets, along with a supporting range of minifigure focused packs with key accessories.
