LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean ship release date

The LEGO Store calendar from China has revealed that the next Disney direct to consumer set, from Pirates of the Caribbean, will be available to VIPS in late March – and as the VIP scheme is free to join, that means it is available to anyone who wants it.

Brickset reports that 71042 will be a big pirate ship, released to tie in with the upcoming movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, due for release in May 2017. The set will be available to VIPs in China, and presumably worldwide, from March 27.
