LEGO releases sneak peek of new LEGO Friends TV show

Check out a sneak peek of the first episode of the newly-revamped LEGO Friends series, showcasing the new characters for the first time.

LEGO Friends recently announced a widespread rebrand for the theme, aiming to achieve more effective diversity and inclusion for its characters. While all five original LEGO Friends characters will continue to feature, it’s time for the theme to focus on the next generation, including the children of the first wave of figures.

With a flurry of new sets on their way, fans of the theme will also get to meet the characters in their animated form through a new series of the LEGO Friends show. Now, the LEGO Group has released the first look at the animated series.

“The new characters are ready to put on a show and they have saved you a front-row seat for all the fun and giggles,” reads the description of the teaser, shared on the LEGO Group’s YouTube channel. “We can’t wait to see what happens on the first day of school when three friends, a puppy and a pig cause chaos at Heartlake International School.”

The clip shows that the season will kick off with the new characters returning to Heartlake International School. Based on past seasons of the show, we can expect the upcoming sixth season to feature between five and seven half-hour episodes, but there’s no word on when we can expect it to air at the moment.
