LEGO Santa and sleigh is coming to Cardiff Bay this Christmas

This Christmas, Cardiff Bay will feature a giant LEGO Santa Claus and sleigh as part of the festive decorations.

As part of the Christmas decorations in Cardiff Bay, UK, a half a million LEGO brick built Santa Claus and sleigh will be taking pride of place, Wales Online reports. On Saturday, December 1, the blocky Father Christmas will arrive in town where the model will remain until January 3.

The build will be placed at Mermaid Quay’s Tacoma Square.

There will be a space next to Santa Claus for the ideal photo opportunity. As well as the man himself, the sleigh will be accompanied by eight LEGO reindeer – Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen.

The model has been built by Bright Bricks, the company that was part of the LEGO Certified Professional scheme until recently. Previously, the Great Brick Safari display has appeared in the same location.

For festive fun indoors, 75213 Star Wars Advent Calendar, 60201 City Advent Calendar and 41353 Friends Advent Calendar have already been released and are available to buy now. The main Christmas product this year is LEGO Creator Expert 10263 Winter Village Fire Station.
