LEGO SHOWS coming to Bahrain in August

The LEGO Group continues to expand around the world, with a new event called LEGO SHOWS set to launch in Bahrain.

It has been announced that the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) will host LEGO SHOWS at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC) from August 22 to August 31, 2018.

“We are pleased to announce hosting LEGO Shows at the BIECC, a fun-filled family event that comes in line with the series of activities and events hosted by BTEA to attract tourists and visitors from Bahrain and the neighboring GCC countries,” said Director of Marketing and Tourism Promotionat BTEA, Yousef Mohamed Al Khan.

“By hosting such events, the BTEA continues its efforts in achieving its long term strategy that aims to develop the tourism sector and position the Kingdom as the center for family tourism by hosting various events and festivals to visitors of all ages.”

This sizable event promises to bring the LEGO world to life in one venue, featuring millions of bricks, huge sculptures, build challenges and obstacle courses. Themes represented will include City, Friends, Star Wars, NINJAGO and Duplo.

From August 23 until August 26, Cartoon Network Live! Heroes Unite will also be running at the venue. The events are part of Bahrain’s current tourism push.
