LEGO Star Wars 30495 AT-ST May the 4th promo set available early

The upcoming LEGO Star Wars 30495 AT-ST May the 4th promotional set is already available in the UK, thanks to Smyths Toys.

UK retailer Smyths Toys held its Big LEGO Weekender event today, with fans encouraged to pop into their locals stores for product demos and freebies. Although there were no details of what free gifts would be available in advance, visitors had a number of LEGO polybags to choose from.

Sets that could be picked up in-store included LEGO Friends 30416 Market Stall and LEGO Technic 30433 Volvo Wheel Loader (both previous gifts-with-purchase), the recently-revealed LEGO Jurassic World: Dominion 30390 Dinosaur Market and others. In addition, those attending the event could also grab LEGO Star Wars 30495 AT-ST, which will be available as one of a number of May the 4th offers available from tomorrow.

Those spending £40 / $40 / €40 on LEGO Star Wars sets from May 1 will receive a free 30495 AT-ST polybag, while stocks last. However, no purchase was necessary to get hold of the model at Smyths Toys today, possibly suggesting that the LEGO Group has created more than enough promo sets to go round.

In addition to the free polybags, visitors to Smyths Toys today could also pick up a promotional LEGO leaflet which includes the chance to win one of three LEGO set bundles and £100 of Smyths vouchers.
