LEGO Star Wars 4002019 Xmas X-wing employee gift – more images

More images have been shared of LEGO Star Wars 4002019 X-wing Starfighter, the LEGO employee Christmas gift for 2019.

Every year, the LEGO Group produced a set especially for employees. For 2019, it is LEGO Star Wars 4002019 X-wing Starfighter. While very few fans who are not employed by the company will ever own it, one recipient has posted more pictures of the box on Facebook, so fans can at least get a good look at the box – front and back.

The set is being sold on eBay by some employees, who are presumably happy to part with it, for around £250, with the locations looking to match up with where the LEGO Group has production facilities.

The classix X-wing has been given a festive makeover in the set, with a small sleigh and a workshop included with the starfighter. The workshop doubles as a display stand so that the ship can ‘hover’. Santa Yoda and R2-D2 are included, as is the Yuletide Squadron Pilot, who has a long white beard and a uniform that has something familiar about it.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be released on December 19.
