LEGO Star Wars 40288 BB-8 available with purchases at shop.LEGO.com

If you’re yet to get your hands on this year’s May the 4th Star Wars promo, 40288 BB-8, it’s currently available again at shop.LEGO.com in the UK.

You’ll get the buildable, polybagged version of the rolling droid for free when you spend £30 on LEGO Star Wars products. That’s half the spend needed back in May, so you’re in luck if you didn’t bite the bullet back then.

Coupled with the current double VIP points promotion that’s running until the end of the month, it’s a great time to tick off items on your wishlist – such as 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City, which will get you a juicy £30 in cashback to spend in LEGO Stores and at shop.LEGO.com.

If your shopping needs aren’t of the Star Wars variety, though, you might also want to check out Smyths Toys, where there’s currently a few promos going on that can stack into some tasty discounts. Code WT6 will net you £6 off a £50 spend, while WT12 will take £12 off a £100 spend.

Add that to the 33% saving currently available on selected sets, including 70657 NINNJAGO City Docks and 75932 Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase, and you’re looking at some very wallet-friendly prices.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
