LEGO Star Wars 75308 R2-D2 now available at Zavvi

LEGO Star Wars 75308 R2-D2 is now available to order at Zavvi, becoming the latest in a string of third-party exclusives for the online retailer.

That means you could one day see a discount on a set that’s otherwise exclusive to LEGO.com and LEGO Stores, although it remains firmly full price for now. Zavvi is offering a free Star Wars tee with every order, though, sweetening the deal on what’s already an excellent set – even at full RRP, which is £179.99 in the UK.

Check out our review for a closer look at the buildable droid, which updates 2012’s 10225 R2-D2 with modern parts and building techniques. Artoo’s dome rotates, his third leg extends and retracts, and he’s even got plenty of tools squirrelled away behind his front panels.

75308 R2-D2 isn’t Zavvi’s only new LEGO Star Wars exclusive: 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser will also be available solely at the online retailer (at least beyond official LEGO channels) when it launches on August 1.
