LEGO Star Wars All Stars “The Droid Rescue Gambit” available now in the USA

Another new LEGO Star Wars All Stars short has been released for fans in the US, with “The Droid Rescue Gambit” seeing Roger and Chopper team up.

Ahead of the launch of full episodes on television, LEGO Star Wars All Stars are streaming online for fans in the USA. The fifth short is titled “The Droid Rescue Gambit” and sees Roger on a rescue mission with Chopper to help droids that the Empire plans to destroy.

Roger, who is voiced by Lucasfilm Supervising Sound Editor Matthew Wood in the short, continues to retell stories from his long life. In this one, he and Chopper go on a self assigned mission to help droids marked for destruction.

A four episode run of full length episodes will begin on November 17, airing weekly on Disney XD.

LEGO Star Wars All Stars is part of a broader marketing campaign, which the LEGO Group is using to encourage children to get creative across the saga. LEGO Stores are currently featuring window displays featuring the branding, with a mix of characters from across the films highlighted.

Bill Motz and Bob Roth, the animation veterans behind the specials, will be taking part in a Q&A and signing event in Anaheim today.

The full range of LEGO Star Wars sets is available now from shop.LEGO.com.
