LEGO Star Wars brickfilm contest submissions deadline in less than two weeks

There are less than two weeks left for you to create and send in your LEGO Star Wars brickfilm submissions before the contest closes.

As previously reported, LEGO Ideas launched a competition in November 2021 asking aspiring moviemakers to create their own short LEGO Star Wars brickfilm. The winning submission will bag a 75313 AT-AT, and with the closing date of January 13 looming, you’ll need to get cracking if you want to be in with a chance of grabbing that big prize.

There have been over 30 submissions entered into the competition to date, so go check out the LEGO Ideas website to see what you’re up against. Each brickfilm must be between 15 and 30 seconds long and use royalty-free sound effects and music, sound effects provided by Lucasfilm, or be silent. In addition, each brickfilm should be based on one of four categories: May the Fourth, Father’s Day, summer holidays/back to school, or Christmas/New Year.

The LEGO Star Wars team will then select five entries in each category to progress to a fan vote taking place from January 27 to February 3. The winner of each category will each receive a 75309 Republic Gunship, 75288 AT-AT and a LEGO Ideas tote bag.
