LEGO Star Wars Design Director to lead May 4 build event in Australia

The ever growing marketing event that is May the Fourth will reveal an all-new LEGO Star Wars build event in Australia this year.

LEGO Star Wars Design Director Jens Kronvold Frederikson and LEGO Certified Professional Ryan McNaught will be visiting the LEGO Store, Westfield Chatswood, Sydney, Australia for a special event on May 4. Rebelscum has shared the details, revealing that at 10.00am, the duo will unveil a brand new, never-before-seen LEGO Star Wars model. Fans will help build the model, with members of the 501st legion laying the final brick at 2.00pm.

On Sunday, May 5, Jens will be back at the store to meet and greet fans, lead build workshops and talk visitors through his studio. For those looking to get a set signed, it is a great opportunity.

All fans are encouraged to dress as their favourite characters throughout the weekend for the chance to win prizes. One prize that will be on offer during the weekend will be the much desired 75192 Millennium Falcon.

The newest LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series set, 75244 Tantive IV, will launch ready for the celebratory weekend, as it is released on May 3.
